    2. Customers to:

      • provide a “rating” of any Traders listed on the Service, either online via the Service or offline via ratings cards supplied by us via the Trader; and

  1. We respect your privacy and the following privacy policy shall apply to your use of this Website:

    1. as a user of this Website you acknowledge that we may collect certain information about you;

RATINGS DRAW AND RATINGS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

The following Terms and conditions apply in addition to our standard “Terms and Conditions of Use” of this website, when leaving feedback for a member of our service.

 

  1. The ability to leave feedback is open to all the customers of our members.

  2. Only feedback submitted either online by registered customers or submitted by post on an original feedback card (available from your trader) will be deemed as eligible for inclusion on the site.

  3. We reserve the right to contact you, via email, post or phone with the sole purpose of validating any feedback you have left, although we have no duty to do so.

  4. All feedback has to be verified that you are a customer of our member, by that member.

  5. You will not submit any rating or feedback that: is defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, or an invasion of a right of privacy of another person; is bigoted, hateful, or racially or otherwise offensive; is violent, vulgar, obscene, pornographic or otherwise sexually explicit; otherwise harms any person or entity; is illegal or encourages or advocates illegal activity or the discussion of illegal activities with the intent to commit them; or that infringes or violates any right of a third party.

  6. We may refuse to post, remove or edit any such feedback (either postal or online submissions) at any time and for any reason at our absolute and sole discretion without prior notice, (although we have no duty to do so).

  7. In the event that fewer than 100 pieces of feedback are received by our members, we reserve the right to carry forward these feedback to the next month, until such time that the number of feedback in the monthly draw exceeds 100.

  8. We reserve the right to change or amend these terms without warning by publishing them on this site.

 

To be eligible for our prize draw the following terms and conditions apply:

 

  1. The prize draw is open to all verified customers of our members,(the verification of each customer will be conducted by the trader themselves) who have either completed a feedback form online or completed an original postal feedback card.

  2. The draw is open to all customers whose feedback is successfully vetted by us and the member, and is displayed on the website.

  3. There is one draw with one prize per calendar month.

  4. The prize is £100 in Mark & Spencer vouchers; however we reserve the right to change the amount and what form the prize takes without prior notice. Any changes in the size of the prize will always be of a greater value. There is no cash alternative.

  5. Each household may only leave one review per trader per month, subsequent reviews for the same trader will not be counted, however subsequent reviews for different traders will be counted.

  6. We value the privacy of our customers, however by accepting the prize any winner of the draw, agrees that if required by law they can be named for any legal reasons.

  7. This draw is conducted internally by Compare A Trader Limited, however the following groups are not eligible to enter this draw: the families of our advertisers, the family and friends of our employees and the family and friends of our suppliers.

  8. We reserve the right to cancel or change the terms of this draw, without notice.
